Message from Our Director

As the Director of Scholars Academy, I am in charge of the preschool program and the day to day operation of the preschool and elementary school.

At the time of admission to Scholars Academy, every child is assessed very carefully and is placed in the group where the child will benefit the most from Scholars Academy’s well balanced program. Scholars Academy’s main focus is on the development of the whole child. The teachers plan various activities to enhance the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth of each child and also to promote independence and self help skills. We strive to make each day for each child a positive learning experience. The teachers plan activities for the students to promote success and foster high self esteem.

The Curriculum Head, Ms. An Desai, develops the curriculum for the preschool. Our teachers are given a detailed description of the curriculum to be used in their classrooms. The children are assessed regularly and the progress of the students is discussed with the Curriculum Head during monthly meetings. There are bi-yearly Parent conferences to ensure that the parents are kept updated of their child’s development and progress. Daily reports made by the class teachers also keep the parents informed.
The administration and staff not only keep licensing regulations in mind but go over and above the requirements to ensure the safety and well being of all the students.
