WEEK OF 2/18-2/21/14

DINOSAUR  CAMP

Scholars Academy is offering a week long President’s Week Camp for students attending Kindergarten through Grade 6. The main idea of the camp is to provide a relaxed, enriching environment for students during the week long break.  The camp will focus on educating children about these extinct reptiles.  Many hands on activities combined with the knowledge of geographic connection, history, dinosaur habitats, and their impact on the survival of various species inhabiting our wonderful planet, are some areas that will be covered in the camp.

Dinosaur themed arts & crafts, songs, quizzes, dances, music and games are included to make the camp a fun and upbeat experience for the campers.  The schedule for the week includes plenty of time for yoga, indoor games / outdoor play, dancing to music, silent reading, story time, socializing, and more.

This week campers will work on a variety of interesting Dinosaur arts, crafts, and activities such as

·            Dinosaur Finger Puppets

·            Dinosaur Hat
·            Dinosaur inspired songs, dance, games

TUITION SCHEDULE:

Full Day (8:00am - 6:30pm) $150 per week
Half Day (8:30am - 2:30pm) $125 per week
Rate per Day (7:45am - 6:30pm) $40 per day

OPEN TEACHING POSITION

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person who enjoys working with children. The prospective candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education Units. If interested please call the school at (408) 238 – 2500.
